As a local mortgage broker and construction lender I have worked with Greg Sleep of Ian Alexander Construction, Inc. for more than 8 years and have financed many of their custom homes. Greg is a very hands on General Contractor and is onsite every day. I know his projects have great oversight and he is extremely knowledgeable about the projects due to his close supervision. This gives us a great deal of comfort as lenders. All of the projects we have financed have been handled very well and I appreciate Greg’s honesty and integrity. The draw process is easy and timely and I have enjoyed working with Ian Alexander over the years.

In the fall of 2008, during our discussions of the closing of our home at 1190 Highlands Drive in Breckenridge, we made an unusual request: Our purchasing of the house would be contingent upon adding 2 decks and an upstairs loft.
And when we were first introduced to Greg Sleep, the owner of Ian Alexander Construction company who had built the house, he reassured us the additions wouldn't be a problem...that he would "take care of us"...and "stand by his work."Since we live more than a thousand miles away, it was a leap of faith on our part to place our trust in someone we really didn't know!"
As we look back on that period of time, we can honestly say that as a home builder, Greg has honored everything he said he would do in every respect. But to us, he has done much more than that...he and his family have become our trusted friends!

We hired Ian Alexander Construction to build our custom mountain home in Northstar Village and truly enjoyed the whole building process and the relationship we developed with Greg and Claudia Sleep.
Living in Iowa, we placed a great deal of trust in Greg to supervise the project and look out for our best interest. Claudia was was invaluable in helping us select cabinets, light and plumbing fixtures and tile during the few weekends we came out to Breckenridge to check the progress of our home.
Greg did not skip any corners building a quality home at 11,300 feet elevation that would stand up to the extremes of the winter season. Greg used local, trusted, subcontractors and building material suppliers which helped the Summit County economy. In the end, our finished mountain home is beautiful and was built for the amount set forth in the original budget.
Greg and Claudia have always been readily available to answer our questions and we consider them close friends.

We had interviewed 6 builders before we met Greg Sleep. It was an easy decision after contacting his references and hearing over and over again how honest Greg had been as their contractor. Building in Colorado while living in Florida required us to have a builder who not only competent, but honest. Choosing Greg was the best decision we made on our home project.
He did such a wonderful job that the log home company is considering our home for it's model home catalog. His knowledge of the area and subcontractors made his bids extremely accurate.
